Breast-feeding

11 Dec

So the other day I was on my way home and I got on one of the little guaguas (busses). So this driver was passenger crazy i.e. he kept saying “5 atras/5 in the back,” when there were already five people in the back.
Anyway, so at one point a women with a young baby gets on the bus and about 3 min into the ride the baby starts to fuss. The woman is like oh he´s hungry and other people are like so where are you going and she’s like Kilometer 9 (everything is referenced in the capital by kilometers for example I live at 6 ½ or as I say in Spanish seis y media). We were like at kilometer 5 so she just pulls out a blanket and lets the kid eat. I was like wow that just has to be at the top of the guagua stories. Just for the record there were 20 people in this guaguita.
